About galleriV58

Opened in spring 2007. The gallery is housed in the charming old merchant's house in Vestergade 58th The total listed building situated in the heart of Aarhus and has for decades been known as a traditional music venue in Aarhus. We hope and believe that our central location will enhance the neighborhood's reputation as a 'gallery center' in Aarhus. galleriV58 offers unique modernist contemporary, high quality, made by professional artists from home and abroad. We put in the gallery great emphasis on providing our customers and visitors a very personal, professional and casual advice on art and artists. And we are always available with our professional expertise.
 
The gallery presents a constant variety of its permanent staff of artists. In addition, there will almost always be an exciting exhibition of a portion of the gallery.

An important part of the gallery's profile is to show the Danish and international contemporary art, which we think is interesting and relevant for the times we live in.

In galleriV58 we have not subjected ourselves to a particular genre. What matters for us is that there is good art. In addition to displaying the works of established artists, we think it is both important and exciting to find and display the artists who have not yet a household name, but who deserve to show their works to the audience. galleriV58 always offers large and small surprises. The exhibitions and the works change very often, and constantly appear new and very current artists forward.
